By accessing and using the LifeGenix platform, you agree to comply with these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

LifeGenix is a genetic analysis platform that processes raw DNA data to provide insights about health, ancestry, and genetic traits.

OUR SERVICES INCLUDE

• Processing raw DNA files (23andMe, Ancestry, Genera, etc.)
• Generating health, nutrition, fitness, and ancestry reports
• Interactive genetic chat with AI assistants
• DNA comparison between users (with consent)
• Secure storage of genetic data

3.1. AI PROVIDERS USED:

• OpenAI (GPT) - United States
• Qwen (Alibaba) - China
• Mistral - France

3.2. DATA SENT:

With each interaction with the genetic chat or report generation, we send approximately 30-100 relevant SNPs for the requested analysis, along with contextual health information you have provided.

3.3. EXPLICIT CONSENT:

By using the platform's AI features, you expressly consent to:

• International data transfer to servers in the USA, China, and Europe
• Processing of your genetic data by third-party AI algorithms
• Possible temporary data retention by providers according to their policies

Genetic data are unique biometric identifiers. Scientific studies demonstrate that:

• 30-80 SNPs are sufficient to uniquely identify an individual
• 45 SNPs produce an identification probability of less than 10^-15
• 50 SNPs result in an identity probability of 6.9 x 10^-20

This means that the data sent for AI analysis (30-100 SNPs) is TECHNICALLY SUFFICIENT to uniquely identify you.

ALTHOUGH AI providers declare non-training policies and limited retention, you should be aware that:

• Genetic data cannot be 'anonymized' in the traditional sense
• DNA itself functions as an 'identity code'
• Cross-referencing with other databases may allow re-identification

By accepting these terms, you acknowledge understanding this risk.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password
• Ensuring that the genetic data submitted is yours or from persons who have expressly authorized you
• Obtaining informed consent from minors or incapacitated persons before submitting their data
• Using the services only for legitimate and personal purposes
• Not sharing genetic information of third parties without explicit consent
• Not using the platform for discrimination, genetic selection, or illegal activities

You retain full ownership of your original genetic data.

LIFEGENIX COMMITMENTS

• Processes and stores your data only to provide the contracted services
• Does NOT sell your data to third parties
• Does NOT use your data for research without additional specific consent
• Allows you to request complete deletion of your data at any time

Generated reports are derivative works created by the platform and may be used by you freely.

Reports generated by LifeGenix are INFORMATIONAL and do NOT REPLACE professional medical advice.

• Do not make medical decisions based solely on our reports
• Always consult a qualified healthcare professional
• Genetic results indicate predispositions, not diagnoses
• Gene expression depends on multiple environmental factors

LIFEGENIX IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Decisions made based on reports without medical guidance
• Incorrect interpretations of results
• Damages resulting from improper use of information

Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant payment processor).

KEY TERMS

• Automatic monthly renewal until cancellation
• You may cancel at any time via your account dashboard
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period
• No prorated refund for early cancellation
• Prices may be changed with 30 days advance notice

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these terms of use
• Use the services inappropriately or fraudulently
• Share genetic data of third parties without authorization
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Use the platform for illegal activities

In case of termination, your data will be deleted according to our retention policy.

We may update these terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, AI providers, or legal requirements.

NOTIFICATION PROCESS

• Via registered email
• Via notification on the platform
• With at least 30 days advance notice for material changes

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.

JURISDICTION

The courts of Sao Paulo/SP are elected to settle any disputes.
